Moreover, Anne heads Quality Control, and she is deputy QM Officer.
Dr. Juliane Hippe
Juliane Hippe is part of the oncgnostics team since it’s formation, starting with her diploma thesis, continuing with her PhD thesis, both in the Gynaecological Molecular Biology working group of the gynaecology clinic of the Jena University Women’s Hospital. With both scientific projects she made important contributions to the scientific basis of oncgnostics’ first product: GynTect. After completing her PhD with us, she fully joined the company. She is now mainly responsible for production control and monitoring as well as further development of the product GynTect.
Dr. Anne Hennig
Anne Hennig joined oncgnostics GmbH in April 2018, to strengthen Research and Development with her profound scientific background. She received her PhD in the field of molecular cell biology. Anne is responsible for the coordination of all R&D projects at oncgnostics GmbH. She is also in charge of projects that focus on further developing GynTect (establishing point-of-care systems, automation) as well as head and neck tumor detection.
Kristin Knoll has been working in R&D at oncgnostics GmbH since June 2015, carrying out work on adapting GynTect assays for extended applications. Already with her Master’s thesis at oncgnostics GmbH, she made an essential contribution to the development of GynTect. She now is also responsible for customer management, and as an application specialist she advises and trains existing and potential customers in integrating GynTect into their workflow.
Anna-Bawany Hums has been part of the oncgnostics GmbH team since May 2017. Before that, she completed her master’s thesis at the Gynaecological Molecular Biology working group of the Gynaecology Clinic of the Jena University Women’s Hospital focused on the detection of ovarian cancer on the basis DNA methylation markers for another pipeline project. She is part of the research and development team and is responsible for the implementation of the QM system for the pipeline product for the detection of head and neck tumours.
Dr. Carolin Dippmann
We miss our family member Carolin Dippmann so much! Carolin was an important part of oncgnostics since July 2017, when she started her PhD thesis in cooperation with the University Women’s Hospital Jena. She then became full member of the team, leading projects in head and neck cancer test development as well as next gen sequencing. In June 2022 she has lost her personal fight against cancer. In our hearts she will always be with us.
Theresa Erler works in the field of research and development and is part of the team working on the pipeline product for head and neck tumor detection. She already made a decisive contribution to the head and neck tumor detection pipeline project with her master’s thesis, which she wrote at oncgnostics GmbH.
Kristina Wunsch, well-experienced biology laboratory technician with long-lasting academic and industry experience, has been part of oncgnostics GmbH since October 2012. She made and makes essential contributions to the further development of GynTect, brings her experience into several R&D projects. Besides, she is responsible for laboratory organisation.
